Dedicated to the memory of David Hazlett

David was a much loved member of the Accounts team at Adylic as a Group Director. He joined us back in August 2019 and immediately became a staple in the team through his no fills account management style, empathetic people management and dedication to just 'doing things right'. He was never afraid to push forward his ideas and always aimed to deliver the best possible work for his clients. He was a calming, kind, funny and determined person, who had high standards for himself and his team, coupled with wanting everyone around him to be happy and have fun outside of work. We have missed him incredibly since his passing and will never forget his charming smile.

This page is all about remembering David and sending him the messages that we all would have wanted to say to him before he died. We would love people to contribute their stories, messages and memories however you feel is appropriate. This page will eventually populate a physical memory book that will be bound and kept in a quiet place at the Bankside office. We will continue to celebrate David's life over the coming months & years, with charity events for Barnardo's and MIND.

Lots of love from us all David, we miss you. RIP

Thoughts

I always had great time for you in college even though we weren't in the same class. I always appreciated your sense of humour and style! Hope you are at peace, you crossed my mind today! x

I’ve thought about you a lot this year David, usually when I’m walking alone and I let my mind wonder. We weren't as close as we could have been due to the short time we had together but always felt a connection with you none the less. I came to find out through talking to your friends that we had a lot in common, maybe in a different life we we could have been very close mates? The world has been a less classy, sassy place without you this year. Coming out of lockdown you would have been a great companion in making the most of our new found freedom and we miss you dearly. Everyone talks about the massive impact you had on their lives will still being quite elusive and private, and even now when you aren’t with us you impact mine. I hope you have found some peace over the last year, we’ll be carrying your flame with us on this end till we meet again for a well earned drink or two x

Although we didn't interact as much as I wanted during your time with us, you had a captivating, stoic charm about you both professionally and personally that I absolutely admired and respected. So much so that there were times when you asked a question or addressed a problem, I found myself going above and beyond to make sure you were happy! You taught me a great amount both directly and indirectly without you even realising it and I'm glad to have met you. I just wish these were things I said to you while you were still here with us. You are and will be sorely missed - I'll make sure to have a drink in your honour for the years to come.
